Whether in a one on one session or in small groups, each individual gets training tailored to them and their specific needs. Athletics and sports require you to do 2 things; generate and absorb force. ABSORBING force is the ability of the body to land after jumping, slow from running, or the body to take an external force and have the body soften that force. GENERATING force is the reaction from a position that allows the athlete to jump, run, or move in a specific direction.
Most performance coaches work more on generating force in an athlete and not as much on the absorption of force. When the body cant absorb force that is usually when injury occurs. Our training not only focuses on generating force to run and jump higher but also teaches the body to absorb force to not get hurt as easily.
We work on the weaknesses of each individual athlete but most sessions focus on posterior chain work (hamstrings and glutes) as well any other aspects of sport and movement that need addressed.
